I'm excited to do a drawing of a burlesque girl. The idea of showing the iconic beauty of women idolized by men will turn out to be a fun project. I can't wait to use dark colors and deep reds combined with sparkles and styles of old fashioned burlesque.

ReplyDeletesome of it is a little racy but I like his depictions and I think he is using watercolor, colored pencil,and maybe pastels. One thing to notice and think about is exaggeration. He seems to be making the head the most prominent part.
Do you think I should take his idea of exaggeration and incorporate it in a different way instead of deformity? I think he does a nice job with blending colors, but I would want to use brighter colors. The ones he uses seem a little dull.
